My name is Katie, after a 19-year career in the NHS; I became a self-employed private homecarer supporting elderly residents of Chelmsford and Braintree to maintain a quality of life they deserve and provide that extra special touch which goes beyond what normal care agencies do.
I wanted to help more people, so decided to register with the CQC and set up my own agency which then allowed me to employ carers to help with the increase in people needing help.
Lion Care has been set up with the exclusive aim to promote an excellent standard of living for our clients and the best possible support, this includes help with personal care, help with housekeeping, assistance with shopping or escorting our clients to appointments such as the dentist, doctors or a hospital appointment. We are proud to say that every client we have has come to us via referral and we continue to provide the highest standard of care every day of the week.

I understand that every client has their own needs and requirements which will be discussed and planned prior to care taking place, this will be done as a face to face meeting by myself or an experienced member of my team.
